Hey guys,

My tranny has a viscious problem of firing itself violently out of 2nd gear, when you downshift into it or cruise in in it.
It doesn't happen when you give it gas however.

Also, 3rd gear seems to work it's way out slowly when you're cruising with no gas as well.

It's incredibly annoying and has caused me to grind my gears quite a bit.

Sounds like its time for a T5 rebuild or replacement tranny.

T-5's are very difficult even for experianced techs. Not a job for a novice. The synchros are gone for sure.
