Ok, just out of curiosity why does everybody seems to go with the Pony wheels (5 stars)? I'll take the turbines myself, or for 5-lug, the 20+ spoke (resemble turbines) wheels, on our '89 Country Squire.
I'm tradin a set of stock '87 wheels, for the turbines on my friend's '84 (not stock of course), and I'm only giving him the '87 wheels to hold up his Stang til he gets the Center Lines that he wants.

I like the turbines myself. Actually, I'm now running a set on my 79 Pace Car. I think that the downside of the turbines is keeping them clean with all those #$(*@#&%(* spokes. They can be a pain at times.

I think that the reason the "pony" rims are so popular is that they are a cheap and easy to find way to upgrade to a 16" rim for your Mustang, and they have a nice clean look to them. Personally I have gotten a bit tired of seeing them on every 79-93 out there, but hey that's just me. If ya like the turbines I say go for it!! They're a very versitile rim with lots of tire selection available for them. My 235/60R15 BFG Radial TAs look great on 'em... just ask me!

Personally, I like chrome rims. I have the Cobra R's on mine. I only like the Pony rims if they are chromed, and only on certain colors of Mustangs.

They just look right! thats it...
On my car I could never find a rim that fits the vision that I have for my car, the only rims that I can see on my car are ponies and 98 Cobra Rims(not polished).
I like the way that my car seems to be subtle in the way it looks, and it is almost a sleeper(before the rollbar of course).

I have found a rim that i would love to get for the track, they are the same ones that Alex and tony run on both their cars, bogarts they are super light and i think they would look good for the track, but would change the look of the car totally for the street.

Another turbine fan here. I think they look really good on the earlier cars. I am trying to get rid of my ten holes now that I have replaced them with the turbines. Those things are ugly.

I like the look of the turbine rims but I wouldn't want to have to clean them plus they're only 15". I have Pony's because that's what came on my car. Duh! I'll change 'em some day just to be different but I have other priorities right now.

15". Shorter rim = better acceleration
Top speed dont mean **** when your competition (around here) is eclipses w/a 75 shot that'll do 0-60 in the 4's, but 60-100 in about 10 minutes.

Mine came with the Pony rims too! I love them. I think they look perfect, and the turbines are just a joke to try to clean!
