I posted this in Sam's, but just in case you didn't see there, or in the Ford Racing forum, I had to make sure my fellow Fox Body gang shared in this absolutely amazing video!

TomP posted this thread in the Ford Racing forum. Talk about hooking up! This guy has traction!

Here's Tom's post;

Thanks Tom! This is fantastic!!

Pretty nice! But it's a good thing the driver in that "other" car had his wits about him and stopped. That Fox body wheelie'd right into his lane!!

Coulda been a close call!

LOL, I've seen that stuff at MIR before....we had one guy pop a wheelie and land on the concrete diving wall......lol. Some other dude in a old yellow chevy II almost flipped his car over backwards a few times......THAT was impressive. Heck, I even saw a wheel stander set the new world record down there at ford fever this year.....8.97 @ 157(something close to that anyway, it was a high 8, at near 160mph)....on the back wheels the whole way down the track

The whole way? Good lord, he's lucky the car stayed true in his lane!

Stew, Wheelstanders are specifically designed to do that. Its all in the chassis setup.

They steer with the brakes. They have brake pedals for right and left sides. Pretty funky. {Oh, and they have holes in the floor to see where they're going.}

I'm sure everyone has seen 'The Paddy Wagon' and 'The Back-up Pick-up' and 'Hemi Under Glass' {Or am I dating myself?}

you've never heard that!? lol, I bet you would have loved the jet powered fire truck then. 40foot flames and a 160mph trap speed. I was at the end of the track when it ran so for me it was VERY quiet, but everyone who was down near the stageing lanes claimed their ears were ringing for like 15 minutes. It was pretty impressive. that truck was really flyin'.
