hey has anyone herd of 5.0 TECH GUIDE? cuz theres an article in it called getting wired or get wired i was wondering if any one can help me finmd that on the web or if anyone can tell me how to wire up my car... i have the fu,l wiring harness hooked up and theres 5 or 6 wires on a connector right by the ecu that i herd ineed to cross some of them and hook some others to my tach or something like that but i havent been able to find that article or any one like it. so i hope someone can help me out here iv been working on this car for ever now and still havent gotten any spark to it (thats what those 5 or 6 wires do they have to do with the spark) so is there any one here that has converted a carborated mustang into a fuel injected 5.0? welp thanx i doubt anyone can help me but if u can that thanx alot.------------------ I OWN PROJECT MUT!

Did you accuire an EVTM yet? Usually anything wiring related would be in there. I am not familiar with what you are talking about. Is this a seperate connector from the Processor???Tony.

yeah iv posted here b4 im 198092capristang... it wouldnt let me log in it sed bad password so i even clicked on the forgot password thing and put in the pw it gave me and it sed teh same thing so i made a new name hehe... and umm whats a evtm? and what im talking about is the green connector about 5 inches up the wireing harness going from the ecu on up so its 5 inches from teh ecu but its on the wiring harness... i need to know what wires go where.------------------ I OWN PROJECT MUT!

i just noticed i made a typo on the subject.... wireing up a 5.0(once was carerated) for efi "wiring up a 5.0 (that once was carberated) for Fuel injection.

EVTM Is Electronic and Vacuum troubleshooting Manual.This is something that will help you out a bunch. Along with a regular shop manual. Tony.

i an in the process of putting an 88 ho in a 41 ford factory wiring and all will give u more info on those extra plugs in a couple of days if u still need it i do know that plug at the ecm is for switch power and fuel pump relay not sure which one dont have diag. here right now email me if u need help still at [email protected] good luck.
