Oh I could go on forever about this one! D"Tight" used to mean something that isn't loose. Now it has replaced "Cool" "Hella" has replaced "Very" "Sick" used to mean "not well". Then it meant "gross"... Now it means "Hella Tight" "Keep it on the down-low" has replaced "Keep it on the QT" A "Cracker" was something you ate with your soup... "I'm getting my groove on" didn't used to mean ANYTHING. Now kids use it to describe their "coolness"... "Hit it" used to mean 'to strike something'... "Laughs" used to be an adverb, now it's an adjective.. (go figure?) Nothing is "very funny" anymore, now it's "hella laughs". A "dog" was your best friend. Now it's a form of greeting and the spelling has changed to "dawg". Double dutch, much to my dismay, is making a comeback (I guess some things just won't die..) "Bling bling" wasn't anything. Now it's an onomatopoeia used as either a verb, adverb, adjective, or noun. (Argh!) Oh yeah, and "cell" (as in cellphone) has become "celly". Note the completely nonsensical use of the trailing "Y"... "Call me on my cell phone" has been replaced by, "Hit me up on my celly". "Fat" used to mean "overweight". Now "phat" is something that's "hella sick". "Pimpin'" was something only pimps did. Now EVERYONE'S "Pimpin the new threads" or "Pimpin some bling bling" or "Pimpin the new ride"... I could keep going, but I'm hungry and need to go get my grub on.. Peace out, yo! ~Brian ------------------ Laser Red 2000 Mustang GT Steeda Tri-Ax, Steeda Pulleys, Eibach Pros, FlowMasters, K&N FIPK, '01 Tinted Headlights, MustangWorld.com Bumper & Wheel Inserts, Tint, Rear Wing mod Best 1/4mi. - 13.869 @ 100.622mph, 2.151 60ft www.MontereyMustangs.com [email protected]
