OK,now it's time for the age old question that starts many in argument in most heterosexual households.
Which way do you install the toilet paper roll on the dispenser?
So the paper pulls off the bottom (the way it is supposed to be) , or the wrong way ...so the paper pulls off the top?

I have a woman come in to clean. It NEVER fails!!! She puts the rolls over the top!!! I have to change to underneath!!! EVERYONE knows that's the CORRECT and ONLY WAY.. Maybe some of you are one square guys-cheez!!Check your shorts!! UGHHH! One square is all you get over the top. After a night of Tall Boy Buds and Taco Bell Bean Burritos----challenge anyone to use an over the top roll!!! Maybe the "dainty dabbers" can make do with a square but..........

If the roll is installed properly, you can always see what you are getting and it tears off more easily. If it is installed improperly, so that it goes up over and down behind, it is a real pain in the a$$! And who needs one more pain, especially if you have experienced a....log jam that practically needs dynamite to break loose!

Heres my .02. If you hang it so it rolls off the bottom it will not come off the roll when toddlers play how fast can you make the TP roll go. If it comes off the top the rolls turns towards them and poof TP all over the place.

Guys (and Gals),

There is actually a way to reslove this 'tissue issue'.

Simply mount the TP Hanger Assembly on a single horizontal axis (perpindicular to the axis of the roll). A 3/8" bolt with spacer(s) and a nylon nut will do the trick. Just apply enough pressure so the roll doesn't spin freely - only when using a small amount of force.

When the roll is not hanging to suit you, simply rotate the hanger 180 degrees (about the axis of the bolt) to change the angle of the dangle.

Now, how many of you actually questioned me, went to your bathroom, removed the roll and tried it with just the TP roll?

Oh ye of little faith,

Rick

Rick,
Basically, a knife switch style of apparatus. Pivot at the center and the arm that the roll is mounted on swings in an arc of 180 degrees. Have it snap in place on either side. Very quick change, depending on who likes it one way and who the other. And everyone would be happy!

We oughta take out a patent!

But then, the argument would be about white or colored paper, perfumed or unperfumed, soft or softer tissue!

Ya can't please all of the people all of the time!

Unless you are out in the street throwing money!

Well, even then they may get you for inciting a riot. If a lot of people will wig out over a simple soccer game....

Well,at my Mother-in-Law's house she INSISTS on underfeed. Over here,I prefer over the top. Therefore,it's a woman's concept to install the roll upside down. Typical, women can't fix anything around here....

The importance is not in how you hang the roll, but how many WPWs you can get.

IMHO, I like the Over The Top Method freely flowing TP. Last week I had some good TP, don't know the brand but man was that soft, felt like cloth not paper.

My friend is in the marines. When he was in boot camp they had about 30 guys, 6 toilets with out stalls (nice and open!), and 1 minute to piss. So they would have 5 guys around each toilet all aiming for the toilet. So many fights started when someones aim was off.

Why do the port-a-johns have such tight rollers? They absolutley won't let you get more than one sheet at a time.
