I just measured mine, and it comes in at 10",and today was a good day. Hence,I take a size 10 shoe. Why is it of importance?

Just about 11 1/4 inches, but I have only claimed about 8" so far. Never leave a tape measure lying around and no one will ever know how long it really is, your right foot of course! LOL Bill
