I just bought a '92 convertable that needs a lot of work. My dad is a big car person and I have lots of friends with mustangs. But none of them want to take time and explinn things to me. Yeah I know a lot more than most girls but there is a ton I don't know. So if anyone could give me a good website to check out to do some real learning it would be great. I know the best way to learn is to get out there while it's being worked on, but I want to know a little before I go blowing something up. I want to be the girl with the grese showing under my nails but I need some help. Thanks!

Hello, Sally and Welcome!I don't know about a particular website where you can get a crash course in auto tech. There might be some out there. If you have specific questions, some of the good people here may be able to answer them. But I want to recommend a book to you: Auto Mechanics: Theory And Service by deKryger, Kovacik, and Bono That is a text book that is used in auto tech trade schools. I plan to read it through thoroughly this coming winter. But it is good for reference at any time. I wanted to know more about wheel cylinders, so I looked it up. It explained their function in clear detail. You might want to get yourself a copy of that book. Good Luck! ------------------ David Spread Joy. And the guys know the rules about pics. They have to post one before we post one.. So far all we got is one half of a chest shot.. lol Again, Welcome Shell

Newfoundland! How about that! This month marks 250 years since my family came from Germany to Nova Scotia. It was September of 1752, aboard HMS Sally. My grandfather was the first one to come down to the U.S. in 1924. My father was born in Lakeville, Nova Scotia in 1918. A lot of relatives are still up there.Nova Scotia calls to me, at times. I guess it is in my blood. Oh, Canada....my home and native land.... Well kk, I think 'cute' was INVENTED just for you!
