You meet a guy for the first time....all very innocent, but you both feel a little chemistry. You make small talk. Hint around about seeing each other again sometime, and go on about your business. QUESTIONS: Would you like to get a nice little flower arrangement (No Roses) the next day, with a little note saying something like..."It was nice running into you yesterday...yadayadayada". Would you like them delivered to your work place, so you can kind of talk to the other girls about this dude ??? Now don't jump the gun thinking this is about me. I'm not the guy in the middle of this...this came up Sunday during some Guy Talk with a couple of my crazy buddies...and got pretty heated.. from "You're a jerk...she'll think you;re a stalker....what a wuss.....oh you'd definitely get L**d tomorrow....she'll love it..you'll embarass her at work..etc etc.... I won't say what my opinion to my buddy was until I get some feedback from all the ladies... mean grrllls...------------------ EDDIE D Resto Mod '70 Sport Roof Arrest Me Red '02 GT, Torch Red "If I knew I would have lived this long, I would have taken better care of myself !" I would freak out. Sending flowers that soon is just implying to me that this dude is eager to get laid. Which is the truth with all guys, but try and cover it up a little would ya. I would recommend he send an email or make a phone call, flowers are just a little too much. Just my opinion tho.

Uh Oh, looks like Angela has us figured out already. Trying to cover up the "wants to get laid" look is not easy. Most of us have had that "look" since we were in 8th grade.

Not a grrl at all but I agree with the rest of 'em . If you send flowers after you meet someone the first time she is gonna freak out, have to wait until at least after the first date. Call her to try and setup a date, dont just say it was nice meeting you. quote: Originally posted by Angela Stultz: Which is the truth with all guys, but try and cover it up a little would ya.

WOW...I didn't think it would be unanimous...I said no flowers, but for a different reason.... Told my bud...she may have a "Boyfriend" at work...who will give her the 3rd degree about "Who sent you these %^$& flowers." OR...she may not want a bunch of nosey Co-Workers asking her "Who sent the flowers?" and figuring she had "Done the "NASTY" with some dude she just met." But I told him..."Then again, you might hit a home run.".. So much for me starting an "Advice to the love lorn column." I'll pass the vote on to my BUD... Thanks..... Anybody want to send me flowers by the way...for just being cool !!!!! Oh and ANGELA...don;t hold back...tell us what you really feel from now on !!! ------------------ EDDIE D Resto Mod '70 Sport Roof Arrest Me Red '02 GT, Torch Red "If I knew I would have lived this long, I would have taken better care of myself !"
