You meet a guy for the first time....all very innocent, but you both feel a little chemistry.
You make small talk. Hint around about seeing each other again sometime, and go on about your business.
QUESTIONS: Would you like to get a nice little flower arrangement (No Roses) the next day, with a little note saying something like..."It was nice running into you yesterday...yadayadayada".
Would you like them delivered to your work place, so you can kind of talk to the other girls about this dude ???
Now don't jump the gun thinking this is about me. I'm not the guy in the middle of this...this came up Sunday during some Guy Talk with a couple of my crazy buddies...and got pretty heated..
from "You're a jerk...she'll think you;re a stalker....what a wuss.....oh you'd definitely get L**d tomorrow....she'll love it..you'll embarass her at work..etc etc....
I won't say what my opinion to my buddy was until I get some feedback from all the ladies... mean grrllls...

I would freak out. Sending flowers that soon is just implying to me that this dude is eager to get laid. Which is the truth with all guys, but try and cover it up a little would ya. I would recommend he send an email or make a phone call, flowers are just a little too much. Just my opinion tho.

Uh Oh, looks like Angela has us figured out already.
Trying to cover up the "wants to get laid" look is not easy. Most of us have had that "look" since we were in 8th grade.

Not a grrl at all but I agree with the rest of 'em . If you send flowers after you meet someone the first time she is gonna freak out, have to wait until at least after the first date. Call her to try and setup a date, dont just say it was nice meeting you.

I say if you dont gettn any move on.
Ok maybe by the 1st date.Ked your husband gave the flowers that soon.

No flowers,no phone callls, just say when your talking to her,are going out agian or what.
Unless she real rich and loves Fords. Then send flowers, lots of flowers.

WOW...I didn't think it would be unanimous...I said no flowers, but for a different reason....
Told my bud...she may have a "Boyfriend" at work...who will give her the 3rd degree about "Who sent you these %^$& flowers."
OR...she may not want a bunch of nosey Co-Workers asking her "Who sent the flowers?" and figuring she had "Done the "NASTY" with some dude she just met."
But I told him..."Then again, you might hit a home run."..
So much for me starting an "Advice to the love lorn column."
I'll pass the vote on to my BUD...
Thanks.....
Anybody want to send me flowers by the way...for just being cool !!!!!
Oh and ANGELA...don;t hold back...tell us what you really feel from now on !!!

HEY...I posted a damn serious question and all that happened is a bunch of guys started hitting on Donna (Ponygirl67)..
#1: She is already spoken for....(ME)
#2: Don;t use me to hit on grrllls...have the guts to do it yourself.
#3: My buddy was in need of emergency advice, and all I got was a bunch of guys offering to buy Donna a car.
#4: everybody said "Don't send flowers"...practice what you preach, you're all ready to send Donna a car for crying out loud..
Donna...this is not your fault...just the sniveling so called "MEN" I am surrounded by.
By the way...what color Mach would you like.

I don't care if you live 5000 miles from Philly...
In fact for you, I may rent a stretch limo for the trip, pick you up in grand style, chauffeur to open your door and have some champagne (I mean Molson) in a sterling silver ice bucket...
The white Mach will be trailered behind the Limo.

Well Eddie, ya better drive the limo yourself. Ya never know who might suddenly take a chauffeur job!

heeheehee

And wadda ya mean we've been "hitting on" Donna? Who came up with that negative phrase to substitute for "flirting" anyway?

What we have been doing is gentle and harmless. Like caressing her cheek with a rose.

No, no, people! UPPER cheek!

Yes, my grin IS back! Grrls, God Bless 'Em, have a way of chasing the blues away in a hurry!
