For the 1st time in about 5years I dont have any hair on my face.I shaved it all off today.I just wanted to know if you grrls or girls like men with or without face hair.
My little girl wouldn't even kiss me goodbye this morning. She told me I look to funny.

I've been on the edge lately, I can't decide to shave the beard or not, I have had a beard for about 15 years and I'm just ready for a different look (maybe).

C'mon GRRLS we need some input here, HAIRY or NOT HAIRY.

it depends on the boy.....

and it is a tough call....

i have known boys who shaved off their fuzzy-face and WOW they looked fantastic....

i know boys who shaved off their fuzzy-face and we were all *horrified* at the lack of a chin or jawline on them.... ya gotta have some kind of definition between the jaw, chin and neck otherwise it is a huge shock when the camouflage is gone....

i know clean shaven boys who get deliciously sexy after a few days of stubbly growth.... but they dont want a beard... they just dont shave everyday....that is just danged sexy in my book.... ....

hmmmmmmm.........
if you have not shaved in a long while
i would think it would be a shock to be without it.....

sorta like when i cut three feet of my hair
and suddenly felt nekkie!!!!

BUT!!!! you can always grow it back.... who knows.... you may simply love a smooth-touch face....

if you are feeling the need to change it... do it... its just hair... and your hair does not dictate your personality.... well... ok ok ok .... it SHOULDNT dictate your personality!!

But KK, I won't have anything to hide behind, a beard is like a mask so no one will know the "REAL" me.

One other thing, if I shave the beard there isn't much hair left (from the neck up anyway) , being bald and shaving the beard leaves a LOT of skin exposed.

I'd have to see the before and After pictures. Some men look better with hair them without and vise versa. My Dad looked like Grizzle Adams all my life and when I came home from college he had a slip of the razor and shave his beard and mustache off. It was trully a sight. I almost fell down the stairs. Now he just has his mustache.

When I saw the title of this thread, I assumed it was about baldness.

Facial hair doesn't really matter to me as long as it is kept neat. I don't really care for those "old man on the mountain" type lookin' beards......

Now, as far as hair in general. I think everyone knows how I feel about it! My girlfriend asked me if I was one of those women who like bald men. I told her not necessarily, but I don't believe the lack of hair on a man takes away from the attractiveness of a man! Charm and sex appeal have nothing to do with the amount of hair he has/or has not.

I look HORRIBLE without a beard. {I don't look so hot with one, either. } Since I was 12, I have only shaved my beard off once. I even told a boss to stuff it when he told me to shave my beard off or I was fired. {I even got to keep the job}

When I was in grammar school I was caught between a rock and a hard place. The nuns sent me home with notes demanding I shaved my beard off, saying I looked very unkept and wild. My parents on the other hand refused to let me shave saying I was too young. I was caught in quite a tug-of-war for a while.

I kinda like it without any face hair.It dose take alittle time to get use to it.I look even younger without the face hair.I'm on the face to grow it back or not,my two great kids keep telling me I look bad without the hair.As for being bald I dont care if I go blad or not.I've always had real short hair since high school. If it gose it gose.
Now a bald grrl,that a different story.

As usual, KK is dead on the money. Some guys look awesome with a beard and some don't. It depends on the face. Send me a pic and I will tell you which way I think you'd look best. Just my .02 anyway.

Shell

On a personal note, I think a smooth face is a must in some situations.

When I met Ken he had a beard, He had had one since he was 14 or so. He came out of the bathroom one night about 3 or 4 yrs later with a shaved face. My initial reaction was hilarious. I had to laugh at him. His face was so white where he had that beard for so long. He even had this little dimple in his chin I didn't even know about.. Now he flips back and forth depending on how lazy he is on shaving.

It seems to me that most of us guys who have that "sexy Male Pattern Baldness" thing going, grow some type of facial hair....
I always had a moustache when I was a cop, and grew the goatee when I retired...
But keep it short and neat...
My wife used to tell me it made me look "Old and mean"...
I said...I don't like the Old part, but MEAN is OK, because I can't fight anymore, so maybe I'll just scare 'em away....
After 12 years of Catholic School, 4 years in the Marine Corps and 24 years as a cop....I've had people tell me to shave, or get a haircut for 40 years.....so now I just let what's left, do whatever it wants...and shave when I feel like it//

I had to shave my goatee off for work a couple months ago. I hadn't been without it before then for about 6 years. I haven't grown it back again yet, but I don't shave everyday either. Think I'll go for the ZZ Top look next.

When I meet my wife 14 years ago I had a smooth baby face, she told me "don't change" I went off a week to south texas to work and came back with a started Mustache. I figured she wanted it gone but she said NO! I love it! Later when we moved to MS I threatened to shave it all off she said NO! I did anyway and she said she loved the smoothness. THEN about the time Tim Mcgraw came out she was raving over his "good looks" so I said hell anyone can croon with a Fu man chu, she laughed and I grew one. Now she won't let me shave it off, says it is totally sexy, she even makes sure I trim it "on time" so its soft. GO FIGURE! its either one of two things >>>(1) everything looks good on me or (2) variety is the spice of life. who knows? I think I look goofy as a duck, so it's probably the 2nd one. Later gang Jerry
