Why do you all travel in "PACKS" when going to a club ????
I know it sucks to go alone...but I notice the "Packs" are getting bigger....like 5 to 8 girls at a club together...
The problem as I see it...is if a guy has an eye on a particular girl....it's like she needs approval from the rest of the "Gang", before she makes her move....
Is it a safety issue...or some "Secret" woman's ritual ?????
There's enough pressure out there...but to be "Cool" and impress 8 girls is pushing it...(Especially when you zero in on one.)
And in every "Pack" there's at least one girl that hates men, and tells her friends...
He's full of BS...or...he looks like a serial killer !!!!!
Guys...all we do is root for each other..  ------------------

I usually have a lot of fun out with the "pack-o-grrls" (some are even girls, but that's another story!!). Usually though, it's only two of us that may go out, and yes, it is a safety issue ~

Hey Now....I'm not intimidated by the "PACK"...not a cool, dashing dude like me....
I was just wondering why the "Gang" seems to be getting bigger....
And SCOOP...I'm a dancin' fool, but 8 girls...is about 4 more than my record...
Truthfully, I'm an "Observer"...and it seems that guys (at least up here) will approach a girl quicker if she's with 1 or 2 friends...but when 7 or 8 are sitting around I rarely see a guy approach...Honest.
No big deal...just thinking outloud...

Eddie i do know what you mean.It's been along time since I've been single.But back in the day I would go up and talk to girls.In a smaller group 1st too.Then the more drinks I'd have it didn't matter if it was one or 40 of them. That 'girls traveling in packs' thing reminded of a time before I met Pam and I was in a club and saw a girl that really caught my eye. She was with about three or four friends, and I screwed up the courage to go up to her and ask her to dance. She just looked at me and smiled, and didn't say a thing. After a very awkward minute or so I said "Well, I guess you don't." and starting walking away. As I was walking away, I heard her say to her friends "Can you believe HE would ask ME to dance?" and all her friends cackled like hens. That was a long walk back to my table.  Beware of girls in packs!  ------------------

But that is the longest walk in the world, and for some reason, you think every person in the club knows what just happened, and is staring at you...
You know...these darn GRRRLLS don't know how good they have it !!!
Then again, a few times a girl has asked me to dance...very complimentary...I just had to wait until they made their seeing eye dog lay down and stay !! ------------------

Steve what guy as not been there.It really sucks,and it's just like walking the green mile.I know that every one in there is looking at you and know what has happen.

sheeesh, whew, what a relief! It isn't just me! It even happens to notoriously successful ladies men too  For the most part, girls are evil, girls are mean, and unfortunately my opinion of them is getting worse with each encounter. Oh well.

TomP...I hear you too.....my problem is that I was spoiled by my main "Squeeze"...the best, and prettiest, and most up front grrrll in the world...
Glad to know we've all been there...guys won't admit it...but a lot of us have a "Little Intimidation" factor at a night club.
I still think the best place to meet a girl is in the super market or the beach....------------------

All the talk about getting up enough courage and then ending up with the long walk of rejection is depressing. Be creative! If the girl is like that, respond with something outrageous. Steve, if it had been me, I would have said, "Girls, you better grab your drinks because this table is about to be a stage!" Then I would have hopped right up on it and started dancing. Maybe even something Russian, with the folded arms and high kicking. Grinning like hell all the while!Ya can't let the mean ones get the satisfaction at your expense! Ya gotta let her know that ain't nothin' gonna get you down! Especially not a dust mote like her! Some day I am going to try a little experiment. Carry a little box into a club with me, with some photos of nature scenes on the outside. If I encounter one of those larger groups of girls, I will say, "Hey girls, would you like to see some beautiful pictures?" Then reach into the box and start handing out....some of those little square mirrors! ------------------
