If you all like gassers, you should go to the Garlits museum in Ocala. Theres a couple of fairly famous ones there. Ohio George Montgomery's Willys and the Stone, Wood and Cook Willys. You need to stand beside a Willys to appreciate how really small they are and what one would drive like with a blown hemi and straight axle front end. The Anglias were worse yet. They are smaller, narrower and more top heavy. Those guys had to have nerves of steel back then. ------------------ 63 Falcon 377 Cleveland stroker Flying Toilet alchohol injection. 6.19 @ 110 MPH 1/8 mile 2002 Ranger FX4 daily driver 2000 F350 PSD Crew cab dually - Like commuting in a B52!! 98 US Cargo Phantom II 28'

When I was a teenager 35 years ago in Los Angeles, my neighbor was Kay Sissel, the NHRA 6cyl altered record holder. A guy use to go to Kay's shop with a fiberglass body, alum. interior, single seat, Angelia with a 392 hemi. He drove it on the street. Every time he drove by, it was a thrill. Only exceeded by watching the blown-fuel altereds run.
