Thanks,Ron! I found a real neat way to do the trim. I used to use a fine brush with silver chrome paint, but now I use those Testors paint pens. They work slick! You have alot more control of the paint.I haven't done a car show. I just don't know who I can hook up with locally. The guys at the local hobby store are into RC's,and they are clueless about scale modeling.I get most of my cars and supplies at Walmart,or the women's craft stores. {Michael's} I want to get into diaramas, but those consume space. I would like to make a dealership,a junkyard,a drive-in,and other ideas. I also only do this in the winter months,so I'll be winding down soon.
I do mod some of them. I have a 67 Fairlane setup like a drag car,a Yenco Camaro that was wrecked, and a few others. I have a few older cars that are detoirating, and need to be restored, like a Boss 302,a Boss 429 and an 88 GT vert. [This message has been edited by MLariviere (edited 03-12-2003).]
