Anyone have or know were I can get a good quality 65 coupe model? All I have found are 66's. A GT coupe would be better.

Thanks

I've only seen 66's. I think they like to go cheap and cover a range of years with 1 car. For example,Ertl has a 70 Torino GT that has 71 features and trim on it.

Look on eBay for old models. In 1965 AMT made models of convertibles. coupes and fastbacks. Same for 1966. Each year the molds for the previous year were modified. The convertibles got turned into the Sonny and Cher Mustang kit. The fastback got turned into the Altered Wheelbase Funny Car. The only surviving mold is the 1966 coupe.

on eBay search for "AMT Mustang"
