I had the II flat-bedded to the new house. It was a bad day! I had just got the II going, so I desided to drive it out to the road to make loading it easier. The II stalled as I was backing up and would not restart. (no spark from my brand new igniton system). I desided to boost the battery in the II with the Lincoln. The Lincoln got stuck in the snowy driveway. When the Tow truck arrived, the guy driving it did not seem to know how to work tilt and load! We managed to get the Lincoln un-stuck and we were on our way to the new house with the II. I pulled on to, what I thought was the shoulder of the road in the Lincoln, and ditched her good. The guy was afraid to hook on to the lincoln because she is so low and has airbags and brakelines all over the rear-end housing. He confessed he usually drove a wrecker, not a flat bed. In my frustration, I told him to stand back. I grabbed control of the wheel lift, chained the Lincoln to it and safely and easily pulled it to freedom. I threw him is $140.00 and told him to err... get lost. I bought my new nitrous kit, an Edelbrock Performer kit. I had planned on getting the mechanicals all sorted out by the end of March so I could get the body back in shape for summer. Right now my project car glass is half empty, but I have not lost hope of summer time cruising-yet ------------------ 1978 Muscletang II t-top mach 1 1991 Lincoln mark 7 1997 Escort wagon type R [email protected]

The '78 T-Top still has NO reverse. The '77 Mach 1 is still rusty and has a clunking Koni. The '78 Coupe still has no interior, no windows, and the head is still "getting ported"...and now it has no rear end. The '77 Cobra is getting closer top being fully stripped and ready for the crusher.I'm hoping to be done with the Coupe by May and the Cobra needs to be gone before the end of the week.

I finally got the new engine running right, darn solid lifters. I still need to finish the body work, paint and interior. I drive it on a regular basis though. Anybody know who has headers for the 2.8? I think I have found a 4 brl manifold up in Vancover, but haven't had the time to go up yet.
