I've always used goodyear 195/70-13 eagle st
but they're no longer made , so what kind of tires can I find? I wanted either goodyear, firestone or some other name brand white lettered tires

I got some Dunlop G/T Qualifiers for my Ghia...they're 205/65/13 though. They only cost me $50 each from Tire Rack. And they arrived the next day. I do like these tires.

I have always used 205/60R13's on my ride, Cooper COBRA's and BFGOODRICH T/A's are my favorites! I never really thought about the proper height? I sell plus 3 Wheel and tire combo's at work all day long! I will have to check this for you. 205/60/13's are 22.7" overall diameter, I think 195/70-13's are much taller!

Well, not much taller...

When I was figuring things for new tires back when I needed them, I found that there was about a half-inch difference from 195/70s to 205/60s. The 205s being the shorter of the two.

I was going from 185/80s to 205/60s...I lost about a good inch of height!

I have been running 205 60 13 Kelly Charger HR's... Got 30,000 miles of abuse out of the first set (burn outs, bad suspension etc) Then gave them to a friend who put another 5,000 - 10,000 miles on them.. Handled so much better than the former Firestone something or other 195 70 13's..
