They also called them "dog dish" caps. Have you been to Pet Supermarket yet? LOL! They started using that style in 68, I think, and they are probably hard to find, Got any hubcaps shops in Norfolk?

They did first appear on '68s with the Mustang emblem. Have you tried eBay? They have some on there occasionally.

Hey Sam, didn't mean to slam you. I just know it's easier to find stuff sometimes if you have the right year. I think some of the earlier Fords had them, but with the corporate emblem, instead of the Mustang emblem. Good Luck.

Steve!! You're missing the boat! No one would laugh, well, not too much!, if you put those on your Mach w/trim rings. Got a set of well used ones you could have for shipping!!LMAO! They actually had those?? I've seen a 70 Boss w, plain caps and trim rings. Plain looking but sort of OK.

Sam: Those have poverty written all over them. LOL!

Yes, the Sport wheelcovers are what I have on it now. The picture above was my Mach wearing the trim rings and hub caps from my Sprint. The Mach came with some real homely '68 wheelcovers.

They are pretty homely. Standard Mustang wheelcovers were not exactly items of beauty in any of those early years. opinion LOL!

Seems like every one used Crager SS back then so why pay for Magnum 500's or styled wheels?
