I recently purchased a 93 GT and I'm looking for a good place to buy parts, new and used, online. I'm looking for stuff such as door panels, ignition switch's, door locks, head lamps, dashboard bezels etc. I know I can buy this stuff through ford but isn't there a cheaper way. I'm looking for somthing like www.restoremustangs.com which I used to refurbish my 66.Bare with me, I'm new to this Fox Body Generation. Thanks ------------------ Rob Seitzinger 66 Mustang Coupe Restomod 01 True Blue Bullitt #1650 93 Mustang GT Convertable 99 Eddie Bauer Explorer

Hey Rob, welcome to the Foxbody world!I have a ton of websites that deal with Foxbody Mustangs saved to my hard drive. Most of them are all-purpose sites like www.SummitRacing.com Pick up an issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords and you'll see a ton of advertisements from company's that cater to the '79 - '93 crowd. A couple warning tho...I've heard nothing but negative things about Excessive Motorsports. D&D Performance and Hanlon Motorsports are the tops when it comes to drivetrain components (I can personally vouch for D&D). Griggs Racing, Steeda, and Maximum Motorsports are highly recommended too. WOW! You are the EXTREMELY rare exception! I have heard nothing but bad about them. From what I understand though, they are under new management. Maybe they can rehabilitate their reputation. But for me, I'll never try them. Not when there are so many other places out there that have had nothing but positive things said about them. Stewart

It's not just word of mouth though! ATI/Pro Chargers has stopped using them as a dealer. Here's a cut and paste right from their website: "As of October 1, 2001, Excessive Motorsports (of Blue Springs, Missouri) is no longer a part of the ProCharger family of dealers, and does not have direct access to our products. We apologize for any inconvenience. For the name of a dealer in your area, please contact ATI at 913-338-2886. Thank you for your interest in our products." But Excessive STILL advertises they are a dealer for ATI/Pro charger! The better business bureau in Kansas has them with a negative rating on their website too. There are many, many story's I've read where people have been lied to by Excessive and literally ripped off by this company. They have that nice 4 page ad in MM&FF that keeps suckering people in. Those that have been around on the 'net for awhile, and aren't new Foxbody owners, know to stay away from Excessive. Stewart [This message has been edited by Stewart (edited 12-30-2001).]
