I have a couple of questions I hope someone can help with. 1. Has anyone got experience with disconnecting the power steering on a 67 Mustang -converting it to manual steering? Would like to get rid of the over sensitive vague steering the power unit provides. I have seen adapters in the parts catalogs for doing this. Do I need them, or can I just take the belt off? 2. I was missing all of the mechanism related to the transmission selector light in my 67 console. I bought another console and it was missing from that also! I ordered the light and wiring from a salvage yard, but cannot figure out where the little light is supposed to mount to the under side of the console. Also, how does it move with the shift lever? Books don't show it clearly enough and people I have talked to never paid any attention to it when they had their's apart! I'd like to get it working before I put the console back in the car. ------------------ WCA
