I am in the process of making a part for myself and I figured while I'm at it I might as well make some extras to sell. How do I go about contacting Ford to ask about registering this part as an officially licensed product. I know I've seen a phone number somewhere recently but can't remember where. A phone number or email address would be awesome.

Thanks.

I'll look through some of my Hemmings and Cars and Parts magazines for you. They advertise in both of them. Alex

Don't know if you have your answer yet, but I'm hoping to find out soon myself. Perogie Ent. directed me to Jim Osborn, who is licensed to do repro work for the "Big Three", and I fired off an E-mail yesterday. I'll let you know when I have some answers. But right off, knowing Ford, I would expect it won't be easy or cheap.

David Osborn, of "Jim Osborn Reproductions", tells me the man to contact at FoMoCo regarding product licensing is:

Wayne Wolfgram
(734)523-5225 phone
(734)523-5973 fax

Mr. Osborn also states that the fee structure varies from supplier to supplier. Ron Miller (AutoKrafters) tells me that the pricing consist of a per item registration fee plus a percentage (royalty) per piece. He also states that Ford will request to examine an example item first to judge quality and relative authenticity, reserves the right of refusal and some other miscellaneous legalese.
Hope this helps, and good luck.

Kevin
