Depends on when it's scheduled. If we overnight in Medford, and leave at 0-dark thirty, we could be there as early as 1:00 but that's really pushing hard. If the museum is scheduled for late afternoon, we will be there.

I love Buffies too, provided she can cook!! Oops, we were talking food already! Anyway, I concur with Dave. Us in the Northwest weren't going to be there until friday afternoon, and like he said, that is really pushing it. We still have a long time to hammer out the details, and boy I can't wait. ------------------ Duane 71 Fastback (under resto) 73 Mach 1 M&M Member #730

It's too bad, since you have people coming in from all over the country, that you can't fit in a cruise up to Lake Tahoe. It is worth the effort and not really that far from Reno. You could go up Mt. Rose Highway to North Tahoe cruise around the north end and head back. Beautiful Lake.Don ------------------ Previously Kown As Don H McDonald Brilliant Blue 1966 2+2

I'm readjusting our itinerary to overnight in Weed, I think. That should put us into Reno about mid-day on Friday. Tom, it's not that we can't make it to Reno in one shot, but I don't want to do that. I'd be dead for two days afterwards. Besides, if you're caravanning with five or six different cars, each with a woman in it, you've got to make potty stops at least every 90 minutes or so. It's the law of averages. I'd rather take a little more time and get there feeling good.

Dave, I would have to agree. I know traveling with my wife, I am lucky if I can get 90 minutes at a stretch beween breaks. My sister used to live in that area (Weed) so I will check with her to see if there is anything decent or if we would have more luck in Mt. Shasta. Either way we can then make the museum with the rest of the M&M group.------------------ Duane 71 Fastback (under resto) 73 Mach 1 M&M Member #730

Well, I wish I could post in the other thread that I was making reservations, but I just checked the training plan and I start a strike det on Monday June 26th. It will most likely be in Fallon, NV, although it could also be in El Centro, CA. Basically on a stike det I'll spend 10 days or so dropping bombs. If it turns out to be Fallon, it should be no problem for me to arrange to just drive up there to Fallon from Reno (about 1 hour drive) Sunday after the get-together and have Casey drop me off. BUT, if it turns out to be El Centro, which is in southern CA, I may not be able to pull it off. I'll keep looking into it and let you know as soon as I can how it looks. Reno is only about 4 1/2 hours from Lemoore, so if it looks like a good possibility, I'll go ahead and make reservations and hopefully at least get to spend one or two days up there.
