Stop it! STOP IT !!! Steve, you're killing me. I thought the Shelby AC Cobra was my favorite until I saw this one.....It sure would be hard to give up the Mustangs but on the other hand.......

After disassembling our 67 convertible for restoration, I've decided that my next project (whenever that might be) is going to be some type of kit car. I'm tired of looking at rusted metal and frozen bolts. I'm also tired of people thinking that some parts are worth their weight in gold just because it's for a Mustang. It seems like whenever I sell some extra parts I have laying around I hear "oh, those are a dime a dozen". But when I get ready to buy parts I hear "oh, those are hard to find, or those are rare". I had this happen with a console and spinner wheel covers. Don't get me wrong, I love old cars as much or more than anyone and will probably never give up my Mustangs but it does get frustrating after a while. Sorry for the vent. After the convertible is done, I'll probably be out looking for another old Mustang to drag home. (LOL)

Very interesting posts. That 65 conv . looks like a offspring of the coupe. {too much like a corvette ? }. Does Mungusta still make cars.? Is it shaped like a new Jag. coupe ?.or mustang ? Reason I ask, I heard somebody on speed chan. talking about it, & they were mentioning a Trans Am race 0r GTS class racing????---S
