Here's the translation:VBM (Bornhauser-Metz Vehicles) is born in 1995 from passion from two industrialists orl?anais, Patrick Bornhauser and Jean-Fran?ois Metz, whose desire is to build a WP with the original lines for a budget equal to that of Porsche GT2. Conceived by Michel Elkoubi the 4000 GTC, since such is its name, is strongly inspired in its lines by mythical Ford GT40. With the origin the WP French has a made hull of steel tubes covered with panels honeycomb out of aluminium and carbon. As for the engine it is a V6 PRV double turbo. Given for nearly 410 horses this one is developed by EIA and is coupled with a 5-speed Hewland gearbox. Its baptism of track with place in 1995 at the time of the tests prequalifies it for the 24 hours of Mans. Missing development cruelly the very young WP fails in this difficult exercise. However one re-examines it at the time of the 1000 km Paris of the same year within the framework of the B.P.R. where she does not know unfortunately more success than in the Sarthe. And finally, with the hands of Patrick Bornhauser and Domenica Lacaud, it finishes in the 4th place of the race "Mans WP" which is run in September. 1996 saw a new failure with the tests pr?qualificatifs 24 hours of Mans due to breaking of engine (from now on prepared by Legeay Sports Mechanical). A few weeks later Jean-Fran?ois Metz d?c?de, leaving Michel Elkoubi and Patrick Bornhauser alone with intended VBM. The 4000 GTC reappears in race in 1997 within the framework of very new series FFSA WP. V6 PRV, from now on prepared by the engineer house gives weaknesses in Dijon, at the time of the second go of the season, where it makes its beginnings with the hands of Patrick Bornhauser. Finishing 2nd to last at the time of the first race it hangs the 13th position in the second race the following day. Its second exit with the Valley of Vienna again sees Domenica Lacaud assisting the "owner". A weak plate and a wet track make it possible the VBM to leave with one 6th place it Saturdays and one 7th Sunday. Whereas the season touches at its end it is in Magny Cours that last confrontation for the participants of series FFSA WP Patrick Bornhauser takes place and Pierre Yver who replaces Domonique Lacaud then takes down superb and promising a 5th place with the General in the first race. Unfortunately the following day an abandonment does not make it possible the VBM to reiterate its performance of the day before. In 1998, series FFSA WP becomes an official championship of France. The VBM with the slightly modified body exchanged its white dress for one delivered black. And after two 4th place with Nogaro and two 7th place with Spa Olivier Th?venin comes to reinforce the small French team. More for the small structure of Orleans since the new binomial signs finally four 3rd place at the time of the three last meetings of the season and even superb a 2nd place at the time of the finale with Magny Cours. From now on best Porsche are warned the VBM is able to go to seek the victory. Consequently, in 1999, all the hopes are allowed. But at the beginning of season V6 Sodemo which equips the WP Frenchwoman now misses reliability and prevents the VBM from appearing well. Following the fire which A failed to completely destroy it in L?denon it is fixed price for the meeting of Pau. Patrick Bornhauser and his men then decide to return in V6 PRV and the podiums return at the same time as the smiles. In addition to two 4th place with Nogaro in they July are one 2nd place on the circuit of the Valley of Vienna and two 3rd place at the time of the last go 99 to Magny Cours which come to save a beginning of difficult season. 2000 will his letters come you it to finally give of nobilities to the 4000 GTC? In L?denon, in the first race of the year, the VBM, on the way to take the second position in Viper of the ART team in the last turn, sees private podium by the fault of one Jarier to somewhat riding control... But it is caught up with in the second race of the weekend when it takes down the 3rd place with the General and the 1e in his category. The continuation of the events is not also smiling since in Dijon the car essuie two abandonments. Then after having made the dead end on long displacement in Hungary it is eliminated on annoys mechanical at the time of the 500 km Magny-Course in July. After the Valley of Vienna (to be forgotten) the VBM knows finally the dedication on the track of Nogaro by gaining a splendid victory after five years of tenacity and keen work. 2001 is made various fortunes and in spite of some certificates of merit, the VBM does not manage to be placed as a challenger for the title in championship of France FFSA WP Nevertheless the VBM remains a figure impossible to circumvent of the French WP. Then after a sixth and ultimate season in competition Patrick Bornhauser decides to put a term at the career of the 4000 GTC.
