Maybe we should start a contest to guess the price for that baby. My guess is $62,000 and your first born. I wonder if I could get a 30 year mortgage on one of those.

I bet Stewart won't mind, as long as you keep it parked at his house. ------------------

Ford Reps must have been watching the Barrett-Jackson Auction and saw the response the original GT 40's got... I could see their staff meeting the next week... The guy gets back from Scottsdale,,, goes to the meeting and confirms... "I would like to be the one that recommends we build the new GT40"... It's a no brainer... Don

Wouldn't it be nice if Ford would develop a car like this in the price range of the average consumer. It would probably still be more than I could afford, but I sure would strive to round up some extra cash! Man that is SUUUHHHHWWEEEEETTTT!

The GT40 is one in a row of 7 Living Legends acc. to J. Mays. Countdown had already begun with the BULLITT 01, Forty-Nine ..and the GT40 was already decided to produce quite some time ago. Mustang 2004 will be definitely 67 retro-style. I'll take bets, because I win.

Car and Driver was calling $100k At $120k, a dozen of us could each put in $10k each and get it for a month a year. We could rotate it to southern folk during the winter!! 'course I'd have to get $10k....

It could be the offical M&M car. Steve could buy it, and everyone else could drive it(memebers only of course). I guess we could give the admins dibs, but I run pretty fast, and they'd have to beat me to the car . But IIGood, I'm all for a group purchase. Maybe if your club, my "club", and the NVMC really really really really begged ford we could get a car to "test" premarket so that we could spread good word of mouth press .------------------ -FISHTAIL 92GT "The Ghetto Sled" CMPS major @ University of MD college park Best ET/MPH thus far: 14.40/100.67mph....damn wheel spin. OK Guys and Grrls, Tommorrows Atlanta paper has another article,(we printed this section today, Friday Wheels) GT-40 is set to cost 100,000 or more? It will be a production run of as many as they can sell, projected to be a "few" thousand, better place your order early they are sure to GO FAST. (pun intended).Oops, almost forgot, schedule for production in 2003. [This message has been edited by ccode67 (edited 02-21-2002).]

Nah, how about we alternate months? Yeah, I like that better! We'll alternate months! Ohhhh, that's right! You can't drive it during the winter when it's snowing! Well, it'll be in good hands with me during those months! Stewart

Don't forget the burn cream! A Fiero is to a GT40 what a stale donut is to a steak dinner. ------------------
