I picked up my Esperante Wednesday night after waiting for six months for it to be built. Panoz started building the cars in February and my car is # 62. The car is absolutely gorgeous, looks like a cross between a Porsche and a Ferrari. I'll post some pix in the next few days or go to www.panozauto.com. If you are not familiar with the Esperante it is all hand assembled with allimium body panels, aluminium frame, some carbon fiber components, the SVO Mustang Cobra running gear and weighs around 3100 lbs. The 4.6L engine puts out 320 HP and it has the Tremec 5 speed. It about the size of a Corvette. It drives like a true sports car with afairly stiff ride and a LOUD exhaust note. I'm in hog (car) heaven for now and I'll probably stay there for a few weeks.

Dang. That's a sweet ride. And the price tag isn't as "exotic" as I thought it would be either.

Larry,
A gent here in Pensacola has a yellow Panoz. He has shown it at the County Fair two years in a row now. It was one of the earliest ones built. Sweet looking and sounding ride. Enjoy your Panoz.
