We had a great time seeing my wifes family. They are all good people.I've always liked the SoCal area anyways.Where else can you drive 90mph for hours and just be keeping up with traffic.

We spend one afternoon at the beach.

I hooked up with (street racer)Todd.

Let me say he car is cool, only if you like.
A super clean looking 65 with a perfect body and paint. And a clean well detailed engine bay,and motor.

Then he took us for a ride.
I now know why my car seems slow to me.Because it is
He car just flat hauls a$$.0-90mph with any effort at all,and smooth as can be.Todd has built a very strong and well planned car. When he starts it you can tell it has a cam,and headers. But it does not sound as fast as it goes.

Oh yea Todds a nice guy too.
Thanks for taking the time to meet me.And bring your car out for me to see it.

It was odd driving in a 65 with a flat hood.
You can see both sides of the road at the same time. That takes all the fun out of it.

Todds car is far from boring.Even if he has a flat hooded car.

I stopped and looked at two 65 coupes for sale.Hey you never know in those small towns off 395 what you'll find.
One real nice looking car had a well run down 302.But the body and interior was great. And it was a 4spd car too.
The guy wanted $8500 for it.I think he would take less.
The other was an all stock 6 car. That was in a number 8 shape out of 10.
He wanted $9500 for it.

I also stopped and looked a new Cobra.
If I got that car I'd have to just keep driving.

Ron you know i was talking about going from my car to her (the wifes better looking) car, right?? I am sure his car was worthy of your praise and in no way was i saying anything about another members car in any negative manor.I was however talking about the diffrence between my mustang and my wifes.
