We were contacted by our local newspaper and asked if they could do a photo shoot and story about our 65 fastback for their weekend edition car section. We were surprised but happy and said yes, it will be a full page spread with about 5 - 7 photos. It is suppose to be out in this Saturdays edition, I won,t be here to see it when it comes out but Cathy will save me the paper, I have to go into camp with one of my corporate groups should be home on the 14th or 15th for 4 days then back to camp. The thing I am really excited about is where they took the photos, they made arrangements with a local farmer who has some pretty nice horses and we went to the farm to do the pictures. I sure hope they turn out because they were done with a white and brown horse in the back-ground on a clear sky sunny day ( today ), from the way they set it up it looks pretty good, but we will see how the pictures turn out. They will give me a few of them for allowing them to use the car, so if they are decent I will email them to Steve and see if he will post them for me. I can hardly wait to see them ( excited like a kid in a candy store )JOHN ------------------ 65 2+2 FASTBACK 87 TAURUS WAGON 98 F150 XLT TRITON V8 4.6, 4 WHEEL DRIVE Member:Vancouver Island Mustang Association M&M #1710 MyPhotoPage MY TRUCK

No it is not for sale Scoop, at least not unless somebody comes up with an obscene amount of money, then it will be for sale. As soon as I get the pictures from the papers photographer I will scan them and send them to Steve, I really hope they turn out. JOHN

We were at a local car show last weekend and they were there looking at cars to find one to put in the paper. We did not know they were there and they got our names off of the show paperwork that was on our dash for class designation. They looked us up in the phone book and called us, Cathy and I think it is pretty cool. We are pretty proud to be picked out of all the nice cars that were there. That's what I thought as well by the title of the thread! Figured that we needed to start calling John - Trader John "Muleskinner" - what with all that horse trading going on and all. John,
Congrats on the spread! Just be prepare for a lot more finger pointing when you and your better half go for a Sunday afternoon cruise (as if they don't already). ------------------ Jim 68 Mustang Coupe...My Show Car.
