Pictures are very nice, but that new GT mustang is gorgeous. Is that the 2005 model that will be coming out or is it just a proto-type? If it will be available I think I will see if we can afford it and get one, I think it looks great and would look good sitting next to our 65 fastback.JOHN ------------------ 65 2+2 FASTBACK 87 TAURUS WAGON 98 F150 XLT TRITON V8 4.6, 4 WHEEL DRIVE Member:Vancouver Island Mustang Association M&M #1710 MyPhotoPage MY TRUCK

Great pic guys. One question for Dave, is that jalapenos on your hot dog????? Ken, was the 66 convertible parked next to Biffs beautiful black car from Kentucky. It looked like a car I know, was the engine compartment immaculate? The whitewalls with the SS wheels make me think its a Ky car. Mike

Scoop, Which Dave are you calling a Redneck There were two of us at the show. LOL Frank does look a lot younger than 25. Frank needs a good woman to fatten him up just a bit. John, That is the prototype Mustang GT. There will be some more changes before it rolls off the line. Mostly interior changes. You should have heard it fire up with a 400hp Cobra engine it. The 427 Concept car with a V10 in it was awesome. Didn't get to hear it running, but it looks like it will scoot. Frank there is nothing wrong with GOOD quality after market parts. Just ask Todd he lives in the land of after market parts. After all does not everyone like bigger bright head lights. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8"3.40 TracLoc,Cragar SS,Black Suede. https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fastymz.html

Thanks to Ken and Dave for taking the Carlisle Pictures, and to Steve for posting them. I especially appreciate the photo of my 66 Fastback since that's the only shot that I have. I was going to take some pictures on Saturday, but the weather changed all the plans. It was nice meeting the M&M members in person and seeing others that I have met previously. The rain slowed down late Saturday afternoon; long enough to pack up, load the car, and pull out. We got home about 8:30 PM after having gone through some nasty weather. I hope everyone else returned safely. Maybe next year will be better and we can get to stay through Sunday. Oops...forgot to add something to my previous post. Kcode, yes that convertible next to me was from Kentucky. An "older" couple brought it, but I remember them saying something about a son or grandson that maybe owned the car.------------------ Bernie Frank 66 Fastback restomod project 85 GT (preserved) 2000 SVT CONTOUR

Those were banana peppers, I think. Not too bad! Figures Ken would wait til we were all mid bite before snapping shots!! Yes, we had many intelligent conversations at that lunch table. Anyone else know about Alfred Einstein, little known brother of Albert?!?! Then there were the boots! And man, did they have some intakes! As for the '05 Mustang...I read an article that said the hood scoops aren't going to make it. Also, the fastback style would become more opaque for visibility reasons. Brake scoops are going away to more of the traditional stamped steel. Interior is toast, not surprisingly. Tail lights were going to be smaller, but would be sequential. I hope it doesn't really lose the hood. That's what sells it, in my opinion. Oh, and we met, "just a friend of Alex's". Guy was wearing an M&M shirt. Frank ran up to him to invite him to come meet the gang. He'd never been to the site, but liked the shirt. Said, "I'm just a friend of Alex's". Small world. Hey, Alex, did you charge HIM for the shirt?!?! An absolutely great time was had by all.

I finally got mine transferred, resized, and uploaded. Thank goodness for the batch conversion function in Photoshop!http://mywebpages.comcast.net/stangii/carlisle03 Gonna have to click each link to see a "dial-up friendly" version of the pictures. I could upload the raw images, but Comcast has only a 25 meg limit for upload space! ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project
