I'm at my parents visiting for my sister's high school graduation, and Dad had some mustang magazines out with pictures of the new Mach 1. Dad mentioned that a local dealer had one in the showroom, so Casey and I drove over to take a look.We drove home in a new Mach 1, the dark silver color. The only problem now is that Casey wants to claim it as hers. Neither one of us has ever had a new car so its pretty exciting. The other cool thing is the dealer goofed on their advertising for the weekend, so we got it at invoice! The 68 will be brought back to dad's and put into storage for a few years until I actually have a house, or more importantly a big garage, where I can restore it and keep it sheltered properly.

Ked, sorry we missed you guys, too much going on and not enough time. My baby sister graduated from high school. I'm pretty nervous about her moving out into the college world, can't imagine what it would be like with a baby girl of my own!I dumbed down the resolution to try to save load time. The car is dirty already thanks to several storms. I need to hurry up with the truck and get it under cover. I'll take some better pics on a sunny day when its clean and email them to Steve for the member page. Ok, here are the pics...

Would love to do that Ron, but we just bought a new house and that kind of put a dent in the car money. Cathy and I were talking and we will be saving our pennies and getting the new 2005 mustang GT. We will be going to the ford dealership on June 17th to talk to them about the car and if need be, put a deposit down on it. The new house has a two car garage, but I have enough room to extend it out by 16 feet so it will turn into a three car garage. ------------------ 65 2+2 FASTBACK 87 TAURUS WAGON 98 F150 XLT TRITON V8 4.6, 4 WHEEL DRIVE Member:Vancouver Island Mustang Association M&M #1710 MyPhotoPage MY TRUCK

No problem fellas.John, it seems we're kind of opposites here. You are holding off on the new car because of a house with a garage, I parked the 68 and got a new car for lack of a house with garage. Hopefully a couple years down the road we'll both have both.

Thats saves me alot of money. My wife does not want my 65,no air,no power anything, and a rough ride. Now if I had a new Cobra I have feeling I'd never see it again.
