Wow, what a show....thousands of vendors of nothing but Ford parts....over 2000 show cars on display (lots of trailer queens). We walked and walked from 11:00am Friday morning until they started closing at 5:30pm and then again from 7:00am Saturday until we left at 1:00pm. It was about a 4 1/2 hour ride to the show.....each way .Looked at tons of rear ends (yeah, those too) and finally got my 8" Trac-Loc. Man are those 8" rears tough to come bye ?!?!? There were lots of 9" pumpkins there though. The only m&m'er I got to meet there was Bernie (aka Biffs66). What a nice guy and after seeing pics of his fast back....what a nice car too !!! Sorry this was soooo long. If anyone that has never been there ever gets a chance to go....YOU'LL NEVER REGRET IT....I wish we were able to stay another day. ------------------ Conciousness - that annoying time between naps. If you've never been there, it is unbelievable.....You can't cover it in a day, and the car corral has some great deals as well as overpriced junk.... GEEZZZ I"M PO"D......were there any GT40's there...(Kits or otherwise) ???------------------ EDDIE D Resto Mod '70 Sport Roof Arrest Me Red '02 GT, Torch Red "If I knew I would have lived this long, I would have taken better care of myself !" Eddie, you'd be happy to know that yes there were!! Two of 'em, in fact...an original 1967 GT40, and the brand new 2003 GT40. Both in yellow/black stripe garb. I've got a picture of the new one rolling into the show-off spot on my camera...I just need to get a way to resize (lost my image editing program). The 2003 Mach 1 was also there. I was there till about 9 pm...I saw the burnout contest at 7, that was neat. Oh man, what else...I dunno...I'm tired, I'm gonna get some sleep...gonna have to clean the car off tomorrow evening too...it's all buggy. More to follow. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project

Had a GREAT time Ron !!! I actually thought about you buddy....whenever I looked at another a rear end ....but it seemed like everything else I looked at was an open rear (one-legger) or 4:11's and down !!! As a matter of fact Scoop....I'll scan this guys business card and email it to you so you can call or send him an email and see if maybe he has more 8 inch Trac-Locs at home....it'd be worth a try....Ok ?? ------------------ Conciousness - that annoying time between naps. ken, glad you liked carlisle. i have not been there for the last 3 years due to the nsra nats east at york,pa. same weekend every year for both shows. i would like to know if there was a ford motorsports truck there and by chance did you talk to one of the reps? the reason i ask is there was a truck at york. i stopped to ask a few questions and was passed to 3 different reps. not one was able to answer all of my questions! what the hades is going on? they did give me a new ford book & said to call the tech line. thanks.
