I'm outta work right now and I still have to get up at 6:00am just to get the Ole Battle-Axe up on time for work !!! I used to get up at 4:45am every morning....maybe thats why I'm not looking too hard for a new job yet ?!?!?

I wish I could sleep that late on a work day. When we aren't on 10 hrs, I have to be up at 4:30 am to be to work at 5:30 am. When we are on 10 hrs, I have to be up at 3:30 am to be to work at 4:30 am. 3:30 is too early to start a day.

Call me sick, but I love early morning hours! I too am up at 4:30 am... usually no later than 6:00 am on weekends. That's why you'll see many of my posts timed prior to 8:00 am eastern time.
I've kept those hours for 12 years, so it's no big deal to me

Yeah, I'll be pulling stupid hours too soon...I'll have to be up by like, 3 or 3:15, and then to work at 4 am. Yay. I've thought about just staying up all night and sleeping in the afternoon...I'm more of a night person.

Thats way to early for me.I get up at 7am every weekday and 8am on the weekend. But I work 9am to 7-9pm 5-7 days aweek.I hate to get up before 8am.I like to stay up at night to at least 12am.
When I was in the reserves for the Reno PD.I would work at night from 7pm to 4am.And then get up at 8am for work. Now that was hard to do.But I miss it now.

I saw a bumper sticker the other day that sums up this thread:

Hmmmmm...I am trying to remember the last time I was up at 3:30 a.m. to leave the house at 4:30 a.m...

That would be easier if you go to bed and go to sleep instead of lying there til 1 a.m. wide awake!!

I am glad I don't have to go to work...

it'd be nicer if there wasn't a traffic beackup every day at the only entrance to the base. I'm only 9 miles from the shop but it takes me close to half an hour to make that trip. Gives me time to wake up at least
