Its sunny and in the mid 60s right now. Went out earlier to Sac Raceway with SteveW, Melissa, and Barbara and surprisingly not that many cars showed up so waiting time between runs was minimal to say the least. It was a perfect day to run or ever just watch. Sadly the 5.0 has a blown head gasket so I didnt get to run and didnt get to drive around topless either . Its a nice enough day today I may skip the party and take the 5.0 apart (I got sidetracked before I got home Steve , nah, tomorrow is suppose to be even nicer . Well I think I'll get a lil stanky before the party and go do some prelimenary stuff to the 5.0 to start taking it apart (coolant, etc) . Here's to hoping I didnt hurt the block!------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 I6, Holley 2300, Clifford header, true duals w/ 26" Smithys 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% stock w/ no traction 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, another toy http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html

Fix the 5.0! Devote a day to it and it will be over with and you can move on with your life! Then next weekend, the gears! ------------------

That day is gonna be tomorrow Steve . Without damage to the head or block I should have that puppy back together and on the road by tomorrow night (doesnt really matter, thats why I own two cars ). Ok, maybe next weekend . Lets see, its 2:40 and I just got home from my friends house where the party was at (I crashed there) and I need to take a shower and do homework. Maybe I will get some of it done .------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 I6, Holley 2300, Clifford header, true duals w/ 26" Smithys 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% stock w/ no traction 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, another toy http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html

Tim, Tim, TIM!! Out all night again and the car still awaits. You're starting to sound more like an old man (who figures that there's always tomorrow, so why rush anything) than a 22 year old full of energy. Here I was feeling guilty about the Mach, but at this pace it will be up and running before the 5.0 (hehehehe) BTW, beautiful and sunny all weekend with the high at a blistering 50. You probably wouldn't believe it though!!------------------ Duane 71 Fastback (his) under resto (351C-4V C6 auto) 73 Mach 1 (hers) (351CJ 4 speed) 66 289/2V coupe (daughter Ashley's) 89 LX 2.3 convertible (daughter Amanda's) M & M Member #730

Lol, I am not sounding like an old man, I wouldnt have been out partying all last night . I would have been eating my prunes and bran before going to bed at 8 pm . I own two cars, whats the rush anyhow? I'll slowly start taking it apart this week, if the block is toast I may just have to build a 331 or swap a 351 into it .Right now its sunny and 65, I almost pulled the boat out Btw, you know if I was up in Portland right now it would be raining . ------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 I6, Holley 2300, Clifford header, true duals w/ 26" Smithys 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% stock w/ no traction 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, another toy http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html

You tell him, Duane! He's using up more energy talking about it than if he just dug in and got it over with! ------------------

Tim,It was nice seeing you at the track. But we need to talk about your procrastination. You gotta stay focused and keep your nose to the grindstone! There's alway time to play after you get your project(s) finished! I mean why do you think all us old farts go to bed early? It's so we can get up and finish our projects before you kids get up! Then we can get cleaned up just in time for happy hour. SteveW

Lol Steve! I am up by 6:30 every weekday so I like to sleep and relax on the weekends when I can . They are the only days I dont have something that I feel like I have to do (which of course isnt the case most of the time with school) . I'll get to it all... sometime .------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 I6, Holley 2300, Clifford header, true duals w/ 26" Smithys 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% stock w/ no traction 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, another toy http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html
