They start tomorrow night... My wife has been wanting to go in,,, but I have to follow the kids to Reno next weekend...So, being the nice guy that I am... I checked it out on ebay and I just bought her 2 tickets to next Thursdays Awards Ceremonies that include Cheryl Crow in Concert and Fireworks...  Not toooooo bad a Valentines present... Only problem... I don't get to go...  But,,, The FOO FIGHTERS are playing the following week... I am trying to get tickets for my son and I...  Everynight they are having Awards Ceremonies with a concert following... No Light Weights either... U2, Dave Mathews, Martina McBride, Brooks and Dunn, Smash Mouth, Train and a few others... Don

Hi Don,
Just got home from a trip around town. We had to take in some of the sites before the big crowds begin tomorrow.
Last night was the dress rehearsal for the opening ceremony. We could see the lights and fireworks from my hospital unit.
My heart really hasn't been into it all along, but lately the spirit has taken hold. Tonight they lighted the Olympic rings on the mountain. They look really cool, visible all across the valley.That was a great gift for Jackie. There are some terrific concerts coming up. There was quite an ordeal for a few days over the International Olympic committee telling the US committee that they couldn't fly the US flag from WTC. Firemen and policemen are going to carry the tattered flag in during the opening ceremony after the parade of athletes. They wanted to hang the flag too and the International committee said NO. Caused an uproar! "what do you mean telling Americans, land of the Free, we can't fly our own flag????" They gave in and it will be flown during the National Anthem. I think it will be a tear jerker! Hey Don your not taking me to the Foo Fighters TOO. Thanks for bringing up valentines day,I need to get my wife something.Any one have a great idea.I'm weak at giving gifts,just ask Joyce. Don,that was a great gift you gave your wife. SCOOP ------------------

If any of you were watching the Cross County Ski Racing today... It was held at Soldier Hollow witch is right by Heber, Utah... And that is where Joyce's Mustang Roundup is held... It is one of the prettiest places on earth... Don
