Thanks All very much....NOTHING LIKE SHOWING OFF... I kept sending my own picture to "PLAYGIRL" magazine and got so many rejections (And laughter), I was losing my self esteem.....soooo I decided to send my car pictures to car magazines (where size doesn't matter)...only a cool shot with a nice background. Now once I get my red '02 where I want it...look for a pictorial called "Bookend Ponies" !!!!!! Coming to magazine in the near future.... .....gonna seal a couple of copies so when my grandson "Rocky" gets the car in the year 2018.....he'll have some bragging rights at high school....or reform school, if he takes after me....god forbid !!!------------------ EDDIE D Resto Mod '70 Sport Roof Arrest Me Red '02 GT, Torch Red

I dont have a mopar either,BUT a Superbird would be welcome at my garage any time. My take on 60's and 70's mopar is that they took a gamble on DIFFERENT styles and found a following from it. You and Pete, can start your own Mopar hating club,or forum,Heck I'd be there to show both of you the BIRD. SCOOP

I know you do,BROTHER.429BOSS SCOOPS, ROCK. I started to get into to it alittle. But I dont have the experience most of the guys in there do.And I was alway told to show respect, for those who are older,or for those that have more knowledge then you. I really believe that I'm lucky to have in front of my at any time, all these knowledgable poeple. That can help me understand and learn about cars and speed and friends. I don't hate Mopars. At least the older ones. I like all the Roadrunners, 'Cuda, Challengers, Chargers, Coronets...etc... After about '72 or so, though...I like all the vintage muscle, Olds, Pontiac, Chevy. There is a difference though, of what I LIKE and what I OWN. But that scoop is pretty obtuse. NOT YOU, the car in CC!

Obtuse,I know you weren't talking about me.Or you would have used a different word. The scoop on the CAR in CC was a REALLY big one. I like my scoop it works and,I get free HP from it too. I only wish you guys could be with me,to see the reaction. My car gets most of it,is like what, why??? And the others are like,WOW thats so cool. The other day when I was out in my car.I pasted and waved to 5 others mustangs and not one waved back. One guy just shook is head, and one just looked at my scoop and would not stop looking at it. It's cool to be different. SCOOP

SCOOP....is it possible that you didn't see them wave back because the scoop is so big.. I have trouble seeing over mine, especially going up hills..... And the heck with your elders.....BE DIFFERENT.....I do it with all my cars... I've got 357 Ram Air flags on the scoop (30 over 351 = 357 cuins approx)..Cobra Snakes on the front quarters... And I'm doing my '02 different......custom painted C stripe on the side with a cowl stripe..... It's a personality disorder...I have to be a little different... By the way...racers used to have to re inforce that big mo par scoop with additional studs, when raced.------------------ EDDIE D Resto Mod '70 Sport Roof Arrest Me Red '02 GT, Torch Red
