Jay Buhner retired from the Seattle Mariners last week. It was a sad day in Marinerville. This showed up on on page C3 of toady's Seattle Times. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sports/134381935_mail23.html------------------ Dave 1993 5.0 LX convertible. If anybody deserves to be in the hall of fame it is Jay, Mainly because he is not a truly gifted player with a lot of natural talent. He deserves to be there because he has a work ethic that anyone would be proud to have a portion of, played through injury, was NOT a primadonna, did not seek the limelight, was always a team player. A full roster of Buhner`s = World Series Title.
