I guess they ran out of buyers in their 'rich geek customer base.' {Actually, the average Prowler owner was over 50, and had an income of over $200,000/yr.}

Production is to end next month. The last 200 cars will be painted a special red.

Steve,
No big loss there. $47K was a little steep in my opinion for a plastic, not so hot performance car. I could think of a lot better things to do with that kind of money.
Can you say Shelby or Boss Mustang with money left to play with.

Ditto to what Dave & Teri said no big loss to the demise of the Prowler. I would rather by a Shelby for that kind of money.

Saw a new T-bird advertised. New, no miles, 50,000! How much over sticker I dont know, but at 50,000, would sure as hell take it over a Mopar whatever!! Not even a flicker of a comparison!

Sorry to hear it, even if they are overpriced. Without the Chrysler design studio pushing the envelope, we probably wouldn't have seen the 49er or even the new T-bird. It's good to see new concepts pushing the other manufacturers to step up to the plate.

I liked the looks of the prowler a whole lot more than that blasted ugly PT neon.
