Sam,
You are right, I'd rather seen a 590, not a 599. Did you recheck the scores for that one pin? Look at it this way, a massive improvement from last week.

Now, if you would have got to the alleys earlier and threw a practice game, assuming that would have been the 160 and based on the progression rate of the three game, you would have rolled a 253 in the final game for a 693 set. See how easy that was, practice, practice, practice.

Hey! Don't send this thread south until I've bowled tonight After tonight, we get the next two weeks off for the holidays. Wish I could get the same off from work. lol

Carole

PS - Sam, I'd be happy with a 599, I think. Never done that well before.

Sam, since this is our last night bowling before Christmas, we all bring a covered dish. I asked the league secretary if we had to put anything in it and got one of those "don't be a smart a$$" looks from him. Couldn't resist - it was there. Do your leagues do the same?

Sam,
Stewwie, being a Californian, wouldn't understand what its like to leave your balls in the car.

When I lived in Northern Indiana, one of the guys left his in the car overnight in the middle of winter, the days of hard rubber only, frost all over it, then rolled it. It shattered when it hit the pins. Shut the ally down for 1/2 hour cleaning up the pieces.

Wait a minute, it ain't cold in Virginia yet, that excuse doesn't work

My scores were not worth mentioning. 150, 183 (I was eating during that one) and 125. Pretty sad when you had a 162 avg. going in. We lost all but the 2nd game. Food was good.
