After a year...I give up! Someone else can do it. I just have to practice this positive affirmation: I am capable of a lot of things, but I just don't do windows! Andria & and the soon crusing again Sinclair

Venting moment.......... Sorry to all the young males this is not completely direct at you! What the h*ll! Can they not read directions!!!! Or was it the fact that I, a female walked out of the front door? The work order specifically stated not to touch the flipping door until it was unlocked!!!!! So here's the update...after 2 hours and the little sh*t left. I got my stupid door open. The locks a little tricky and will not unlatch if you push in the stupid button. The little twerp spent 5 minutes there and said "Gee, I'm sorry I did not read that on the order. You'll have to take it to the shop." AND YOUR POINT IS?!?!? You messed it up, you fix it! So after a few hours of the tradition pulling on the lock, up down, etc. The door unlocks. SO agivating. (Maybe Sinclair got the vibe and knew he would only mess him up more) BUT on a positive not Redd, one of the best in CO, will come out after christmas and fix it for me. He said he'll only charge me for parts, if needed. SO, Sinclair is still parked, but purring like a kitten. Now let me ask a question to you males.... Is a 5'3" woman dressed in grubby clothing, look like someone who does not know a thing or two about cars? What asses young males make of themselves. That is why I stick with the old timers(no offence!) They just have a brain! Thanks for the b*tching time! I feel better! Andria and the still sitting Sinclair

Andria, In simple terms, it's called lack of common sense. Some of us males learn at an early age not to judge the package by the appearance, but by the content. Never ever assume. When you assume, you make and A$$ out of U and ME. I hope all turns out well and that you two get on the road soon. You know I can look at this a diffrent way... If Sinclair was fixed, I would be out cruising, INSTED of working on my 10+ page paper for English class. So there is a positive side here. Not all that comforting, but it helps! Andria & Sinclair

Yup, I agree with Dave on this one . No Tim...It just means you have experiance with classic cars! I'm a baby when it comes to Sinclair...Very few people work on it outside of myself and my Dad, and that is still iffy at times. I would trust someone who owns a classic car and can/does work on it themselves! Make sence? I just have issues handing my keys over to someone that already drulling and thinking "Drag Race!". That what scares the crap outta me!Andria [This message has been edited by Southpaw (edited 12-12-2001).]

I agree with you there Andria. The '65 has only been out of my hands for the paint shop (just to spray it), the tranny shop (didnt have time to rebuild the C4 myself [or even pull it]), and the alignment shop. NOBODY else touches my '65 .------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 I6, Holley 2300, Clifford header, true duals w/ 26" Smithys 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% stock w/ no traction 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, another toy http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html

As a "young male" myself (i am, ask Sam) i gotta say that sometimes the owners leave cars that are riddled with problems that the owners have grown accustomed to. Things like doors that don't unlock and window cranks that need to be pushed inwards and turned backwards first may seem natural to the driver, but not to somebody driving it the first time, whether to buy it or work on it.
