Ok, I think I have it all straight now..LOL..someone sign-up for free website so I'll know it works http://signup.mustangsandmore.ws happy web building.. I'll set up a site for resources and HTML help for those who have never built a site. sam

Works well. Steve,many of the "free" websites onLine are "owned" by Above INC.50MEG. Freeservers,Stangnet just a few. This comapny gives the space away so they can use it for ads...I don't care..its free!! I tried to get mustangsandmore.net but someone has it and won't part with it The .ws stands for websites I'm going to meake a page to help those who never made a site also add a bunch of free online stuff too. I think this is a great idea... But,,, I'm with Stewart,,, Do we need to take a college class to learn how to develop the site... I could use it for my business and cars. Don. No all one need is a healthy dose of common sense.I started building websites with a webTV unit..now thats hard,but with todays Computer its simple.."cut and paste your best friend. I would create one, but I'm afraid to even try. I know nothing about that sort of stuff. He!!, it took me a couple of months to figure out smiley faces, and I still dont know how to change font sizes and colours or post pics here. (I know, poeple have explained it several times, but if it doesnt have to do with making my car faster, I dont understand)If I were to try one, it could have quite disasterous consequences

O.K., Sam, I copied my tripod site over. Got the email confirming it had been copied, etc., etc..... but, I'm still getting a blank page. http://www.ked.mustangsandmore.ws/ I'm guess it takes a day or two to copy over????? If not, I guess I'll start from scratch. I'm gettin' kinda tired of that tripod site anyway ~ (it's the first one I ever did).

Ked, go into youir file manager and delete main.html if you didn't,then the index.html will become your "main" page. sam
