Mary was driving through a town in the country and stopped little Ian , to ask where she could find a taxidermist.

Little Ian said he didn,t think there was one .

Mary said " are you sure? "

At that little Ian admitted he didn,t know what the word meant .

So Mary explained that a taxidermist is a man who mounts animals.

Little Ian said " oh geez, we,ve got plenty of them around here, only we call them sheepherders . "

Hey Greenstang ,

I hope you did not take offence to this harmless joke. I know Ian didn,t , and , it was not meant to be directed to anybody in particular, it,s just the names I happened to use. If you feel I belittled someone let me know and I will make a public apology, but , until then take it for what it is, a joke .

JOHN

nah, not at all
I was going to make a joke about Ian and generalize about Canadans, but decided not too. I didn't want to offend all Canadians

Don't sweat it, John. Marcus is just yankin' your chain!

SCOTT,
I live in nanaimo. For those of you that are not familiar with British Columbia , it is a small town on Vancouver Island, located about 35 miles or a 1 hour and 35 minute ferry ride west of the mainland , but , if you take the new and improved 450 million dollar fast ferry it only takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Our wonderful government has done it again. All of that aside, it is home, and, I love it here .

I drive by that range often. It sure makes you wonder though when you're sitting at the beach at Barnet Marine Park and you hear the gunfire from the highway above...

John, I was in your neck of the woods a few months ago on our vacation. Stayed at Tigh Na Mara for a few days and hit Nanaimo (native word for "too many malls" BTW ) to see a movie.

I'll have to try and get over for VIMA's Parksville show this year and hook up with all you island folks.

SCOTT,

It,s a great show, and, there are some very nice cars over here. Even better than that are the people that are involved with VIMA. They are a super group who have a real sense of club participation. You would be welcome at any of our shows or club activaties. Drop me an e-mail the next time you are in town and we can get together for a beer.

John, Scott and I go back quite a ways. We were in each others wedding parties, and have had quite a few adventures over the years. We'll definitely all get together for a beer (or 6) at the Parksville show! Hopefully we can talk Wythors (Dave C.) and Msbeehavn (LuAnn) into coming over, and I am sure stang106 (Dave) and bfxcomet (Roger) will join us... not to mention stangfan (Steve) and Turbo4 (Wes).

It's always a good time!

Ian
