Sam, Sam, Sam. What in the world are we going to do with you? How did you hurt your shoulder? You know you need light to bowl. lol

Everybody, the show was great. 140 cars in a small parking lot so we were a bit cramped. Jim's Mach 1 took a first place (helps that it was the only car in the class ha ha) and his Bullitt took 2nd in the special category Mustang class (we get a bit creative in our classes) - the True Blue Bullitt got first and the Cobra took third. Miss Stang tied for 2nd in the 66 Mustang class and Anni got 1st in the '99 & up and she was the oldest in the class! Please don't tell Miss Stang that Anni got a first place! She might get jealous and we sure don't want her to become "Miss Cranky" again anytime soon!

Yes Sam, you will have to take your lumps Thursday. BTW, don't forget the Christmas party Sat. I'm planning on "honoring" several of our club members with momentos of the stupid things they did or had happen to them during the year. So far I have not been "honored", but Jim says I'm on his list and I will HATE it. Who knows, maybe Jim's on my list as well It'll be a blast. Sam, if you don't show Thursday, you won't get a map to the party location!

Sam,
Hopefully your shoulder will heal by the time you need to bowl again. Make sure you make the Thursday night meeting and Christmas Party. You will have a great time at the party. Trust us.

Carole,
Sounds like you had a great turnout and a good time. Congrats on the trophies for both of your Stangs!

Those approaches can be nasty. About 2 years ago, in the first frame of the first game, I was going cross-alley to pick up the 10 pin. Well, I guess there was a little oil on that part of the approach and down I went - anybody ever take a good look at the gutter? I got one. Picked up that pin, but it didn't count since I fouled. I also ended up with a cracked bone in my foot and had to miss 5 weeks later on when the pain got so bad and I finally went to the dr. about 6 weeks after my fall. It was during my layoff that our team name was changed from "John's Idea" to "John's Bad Idea". Now it's "John's Very Bad Idea". lol BTW, lost 3 this week and my high game was a 160 - two pins under my avg. Low game in 130's and the 1st was in the 140's. Maybe next week.

Carole,
two seasons ago our lead off man Ronnie "blew out" his shoulder last night of Summer league and had to have surgery before winter league started.
He bowled left handed for that season going back to right hand this year...

This year my sis-in-law has had surgery on her foot week before last and bowl Sun nite...
Who says Bowl ain't a contact sport..LOL!!!
