Every time I log on, there is the picture of Ray Jermyn's '70 Mach 1 (By the way Ray, Congrats on being this month selection)... What I keep wondering is "Why is Ray's Car Parked on the Sidewalk"???Gosh, I hope he hasn't started drinking again... ------------------ Don M&M Member #854 66 Brilliant Blue Fastback 302 with 5 speed We Will Never Forget Keep The Faith America

Don, It's a Philly thing. Not enough room on the streets to park all those cars. So they also use the sidewalk. I think it's a photo of the car while at a car show. I can detect a mirror sitting on the ground under the front bumper...------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project

Nah,,, Can't be a Car Show Picture... That's toooooo logical... The mirror must have been for something else....

Well Don, after further thought, it could be that Ray was doing an oil change and he couldn't find his jack. So why not back up on the sidewalk to get enough room to slide up under to pull the drain plug. The mirror was there to check for leaks after the job was complete. theres stuff behind the car too.... i think this is one of those deals where the driver (no doubt elderly) mistook the accelerator for the brake pedal.

Ya Know Dave, I think you hit it on the head... Too bad Ray isn't around to defend himself... OR maybe the mirror is being used to look for pedestrians he backed over... Any other ideas ??

Really, the car is in front of Father Judge High School for Boys. It's two blocks from my house. They put cars on both sides of the street like that since it's not that wide. The Northeast Muscle Car Club runs the show to benifit the Father Judge Alumni Assoc. Scholorship Fund. The picture of me driving in is from the Hatboro Car Show in Hatboro PA, which is about 30 minutes outsid Philly. The close the town and back you onto the sidewalk also. The one with me is the Charles Olsmobile show in Bristo Pa about 20 minutes outside Philly. That's where all the Best Of Show winners compete for the Best Of The Best, and I won Top Car Of The Year. SO THERE!!!!LOL RAY------------------ RAY .
