the nimda virus took out a lab at one of the schools I work for.
it can be attached to an email and opened without the user being aware that an attachment is in the message.
It goes into your computer, finds .doc, .txt, etc, and makes new messages from them, emailing them out to anyone you've emailed recently, checking your registry, outbox, sent items and address book, it does not require Outlook as most do.
it can infect your computer from hotmail, yahoo, etc.
it isn't fun.
spread the word.
search for *.eml or *.nws on your computer, if you have a bunch you don't recognize, it aint looking good...------------------

I agree with Stewart, James you are an AWESOME artist! I read your experience with Lyme. I live close enough to Lyme CT that it's pretty relevant up here, if fact, I have had my kids tested SEVERAL times for lyme. My neighbor has 2 children that both contracted lyme disease. I didnt realize it had made it all the way down to Alabama! I wish you luck with your recovery James.
