No, I ain't talking Gross Porn... Tell us all about those Demented Automotive abominations that are floating around in your imagination. For exsample: 1984 Plymouth Reliant Wagon (yep, K car) pro street, Hemi, you get the picture. '80s Mopar mini-van, with one, maybe two Olds Toronado drivetrains (ala the Hurst "Hairy" Olds). etc, etc.

A widened VW Rabbit set on top of a Porsche 928 chassis and drivetrain. I saw that in a Road & Track magazine around 1980. The body side panels fit perfectly but the whole thing had to be widened 8 inches. Thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen up until that time. ------------------ Dave 1993 5.0 LX convertible. A few years back, Ian (Gearhead) and I were at the Pacific International Auto Show in Vancouver. There was a booth setup by a company that was reinforcing the frames, replacing pretty much everything but the body and seats and installing hopped up 5.0L's in Miatas. Something about 250HP in a 2000lb car... R-R-R!!! If I remember correctly, it was about $10K US for the conversion. ------------------ Scott '68 Cougar GT at some point in the future...

1979 Ford Fiesta (no, not the Festiva, the little, tiny Fiesta)... stroked 460 with Boss 429 heads and an injected 12-71 blower. Full cage, wheelie bars (you'd need 'em) and a chute out back. Next, I'd want to meet the nut that would actually volunteer to drive it, and be the primary benficiary in his will. Ian

These aren't too wild because at least the first two I really will build. The third I like the idea but will probably never do it.65-66 Mustang Fastback (if I decide to sell my Coupe and get a good price). 351W stroked to 408 with a single Turbo in street trim about 10-12PSI of boost. I'd guess at about 650RWHP on 91 Octane. With race fuel it could probably put out around 750-800rwhp. Everything under the hood with no external cues. Full Griggs front and rear suspension with either a T56 or Richmond 6spd. Rear would have a mini tub to fit between 295/315 tires. Alcon/brembo or Baer brakes. Street legal. Pantera with a mildly stroked 351W to 377. Superlight internals. Titanium valves, retainers, keepers, rods, and superlight pistons. ZF 6spd with upgraded suspension and aerodynamics. Daily driver potential. I'd guess at about 425-500rwhp. Older Mercedes SL, Late 60s or early 70s. Lowered with a modified suspension. Motor and tranny from a wrecked E55 AMG (or CL55,S55). In stock form the motor is rated at 350hp. Just a free flowing exhaust should free up another 20-30. Modified with parts from one of the Mercedes tuners would bring it to around 450 at the crank. It should be good for low 12s high 11s in street trim and completely tame as a driver.

60s Coupe DeVille baby Caddy BB 500 with a roots blower through the hood, longhorns on the front, backed by whatever you can find that can handle it American style and luxury with more power than you would ever want and for a plain old "stock" car, Id love to have a Corvette (early 60s, i believe 63 o4 64???) - the ones where the headlights were horizontally placed .. + .. -- with black body and the inset of the door in silver (they came stock with that paint scheme) I want one!!!!!! ------------------ Dan~ 1965 Coupe "BeeBop" 200ci Straight "6"~2.77 3-spd w/Hurst Shifter~Pertronix Elec. Dan: The Vette you like would have to be a 58-61. The insets were called coves. Black and silver was sharp. The 62 had coves but were not painted a contrasting color. Good choice. 55-7 Birds are cool, too.I like the Miata small block combo. A modern Sunbeam and a better car. On a more sane tone. A 68 cv with EFI and AOD. That I can make reality. A completely stock appearing 41 Lincoln Continental cv with modern OHV, late frame clip with all power goodies including AC. Sparkling Burgundy with tan canvas top and burgundy leather int.
