My daughter Ashley (candyapple66) and Tim (I65stang) dropped a MAJOR surprise on me last night (no not that one) You see, this weekend is the all Ford drags at the local drag strip and Ashley has convinced me to let her run her car for the first time (LOOKOUT!!). Last night while I was prepping my '73 Mach 1 to enter the car show portion of the event, what should pull up in my driveaway, but Tim in his '88 ragtop GT!!! It's only 1200 miles roundtrip for this little stopover, and Tim wanted to come up and enjoy the fun at the drags with his car!! Then sunday we're going to an open cruise-in which gets 300 cars entering. What a treat!!!!!!!!!!! It seems they have been scheming this up for a couple of weeks and I would like to think he drove ALL the way here just to visit with me and drag race his car, but me thinks there is another motive (hey Tim are you blushing yet?? hehehe).------------------ Duane 71 Fastback (under resto) 73 Mach 1 89 LX 2.3 convertible M&M Member #730
