Joe, Mike(71Ragtop) and I currently working on things for the Atlanta MCA Show for the members of M&M that plan to attend. Terri and I will most likely be there. For more specific details on the show go to www.mustang.org. That is the MCA web site. Hope to see you there. Dave & Terri

We'll probably start the 'official' planning for the MCA 25th Gathering on Monday. I for one did not want to distract anyone from the woderful events of Reno.I have started talking to some local hotels to get group rates, and organizing 'festivities'. Any of you that attended last years event and stayed at the Hampton Inn at the Mall Of Georgia will remember all the restaraunts and stuff around there. Welllll....it has grown ALOT since then. Two more hotels and about 10 more places to eat and drink have gone in. I'll let you know more as I firm up the details. This will go over to the Upcoming Events Forum in the next few days and Dave and I will take a serious run at it. Anyone else in the area want to volunteer? ------------------ Mike M&M Member #9 2001 Bullitt #172 Dark Highland Green "Is that Black Charger following me?"

From reading the RENO posts and seeing the list of attendees growing already, I can only assume that the Atlanta Show will be a BLAST too.Make your plans now! Mike

Hmm, $247 rt (or $441 for a nonstop flight!) is doable as long as we have enough cars where I can hitch a ride with someone else to keep from renting a car :>). Big problem is I will be back in school, we shall see but its not ruled out .------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 ci w/ a Holley 2300, Clifford header, and true duals w/ 26" Smithys, for showin' 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, totally stock for now, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% bone stock with no traction, for goin' 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, everyone needs more toys and need a truck for towin' http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html

Dave, Using Chicago, Il as a general starting point to Atlanta, Ga, RandMcnally.com says it's 714 miles and will take approximately 12 hours and 15 minutes. You can do it! Dave & Terri

Leaving Miami at about 4:30 AM, I was going around Atlanta about 11 hours, or so, later. From Chicago, it would be a LONG non-stop journey. But I drove non-stop from Chatanooga to Miami! THAT was REALLY A LONG DAY! Sure wouldn't want to do it in a 65 with those wonderful 'ergonomically correct', LMAO!, seats!! Judging from the map in MTimes, it shows the site somewhat east of Atlanta. Dave! Are the cars going to be arranged by year, etc, or can groups park together?

Pete, The show site for the MCA 25th is in Commerce, Georgia, which is north-east of Atlanta. Last year when the M&M gang was there, we all stayed at the Hampton Inn right by the Mall of Georgia. Lots of things to do in that area. Plus it's only a 30 minute drive to the Commerce Dragway. Not bad at all and the prices are reasonable. Dave & Terri

Hey Mike, be sure to schedule a M&M outing to Malibu Grand Prix, a little road racing to get everyone wound up. I may go get some practice in so I can be the fastest M&M driver..... Any challengers?..... and yes, it is cheating if I can practice and everyone else can't. Anyway, I can't wait to meet you guys, wish I could have done Reno, sounds like it was a great time. ------------------ Stuart MCA #48902 67 stang 5 speed 91 f-150 xlt 98 explorer xlt sohc v-6

Mike(Kcode), I also heard the same thing form Lark & Beverly Bragg. That is why we are looking more towards the Mall of Georgia area. The Hampton Inn is right across the street from the Mall and the track is about 30 minutes away. Plus there are plenty of places to eat and lots to do in the Mall. Dave & Terri

There is also a brand new Wyngate Inn and a Spring Hill Suites by Marriott. The Spring Hill Suites is still under construction but should be ready before the event. It is literally right next to the Hampton Inn.Oh yeah, there is also a new Waffle House so there will be a place to go for that late late snack, or early early breakfast. Just some of the places to eat/drink around there are TGIFridays, Ruby Tuesdays, Chilis, Longhorn, On The Border, Red Lobster, Macaroni Grill, PF Changs, California Grill, O'Charleys, and all the normal assortment of fast food places like Chik-fill-a, McDonalds, Arbys, Wendys, etc. There is also a Bruesters Ice Cream shop! For some more info about the Mall and it's hundreds of stores, you can check out the website. www.mallofgeorgia.com
More info to come as things get finalized. We could also journey into Atlanta or Buckhead if you like World Of Coke, Atlanta Underground, etc. Mike
