I am trying to decide between the regular edelbrock performer RPM and the performer RPM air gap. Do you know if there would be clearance under my 70 hood with a 351W to run this? Is the air gap even worth the extra $40?

I dont see why they both wouldn't fit under your hood.
I'd go with the air gap, they have alittle longer runners and cooler fuel is always better, and lastly they look better.

With either one try a 4 hole 1" spacer it helped my set up.

eh, I just decided to go with the standard. I haven't read or heard anything making the Air gaps any better, so I saved the extra $30. Maybe for the worse but whats done is done
