Hey all, need some help on figuring out what this motor is worth that I am looking at buying.

It is a 605ci all aluminum Ford SVO big block. It has Crower 4340 crank and rods with JE pistons (10.2:1cr). The heads are Ford C460 Aluminum heads with port work on intake and heads done by Engine systems. Complete long block except for the cam, lifters and carb. Stef's complete dry sump oiling setup. Headers, Meziere water pump, starter. Saw the dyno sheets, on pump gas this thing made 895 hp at 6600 and 870tq at 4400, at the crank.

The rotating assembly has about 200 330' runs in a sand rail.

Wondering what you guys think this setup is worth as I am looking at making the guy an offer.

Thanks

More, the heads are 3 grand. I'd offer 12-15 but it's worth that easily.

Also that motor can make more HP than that. DID you see this on DRR? I saw same question on DRR.

I know a guy that has one of these in a 49 Merc and it makes an easy 1000HP
impressive piece of machinery.

Jerry,

Yeah that's where I borrowed it from. Just thought the Ford racers would like seeing a serious Ford engine and may have some input. Since DRR is mostly chebbie guys.
