This is for my dads 23 T-bucket.We can't use the truck rear sump oil pan. It's way to deep, about 10" on the rear sump.We need one closer to 7-8.5" deep.I'd rather stay with the rear sump style. Is the car 351w rear sump pan less deep, and if so where can I get one?

I need to get this car on the road by August 5th.It would really mean a lot to my dad.

Thanks for the help.
P.S.I wouldn't even have tried this project if not for the help from this site.

Scoop, the Fox body pan is only 7 1/2 deep IIRC. You could get one anywhere, try the classifieds....

whoops, missed the 351W in that post. Get one from an LTD / Marquis etc. I had an 84 LTD with a 351W. Most parts stores carry reman pans, try Advance if nothing else.

I solved it,Ford Racing rear sump pan part number#M-6675-A58 $130 from summit racing comes with pan, pick up,oil tube and dip stick.I also picked a one piece oil pan gasket for it too.Have any of you used these?

BTW the was designed to be used in Fox body cars with a 351w.The deep part of the pan is 8.5" thats alot better.

I also met a real a Ford parts guy at Summit racing. He's a young guy and knows alot about Fords, and Mustangs. He was a lot of help.
