I was thinking along the lines of a front engine dragster...Nostalgia racing. Thanks for making the link, I still haven't learned how to do that. ------------------ Stuart MCA #48902 M&M #1091 67 stang 5 speed, 351W, Edelbrock Performer RPM package my photo page

I was thinking of a '92 Fox body as the proud owner of that monster, but a duce coupe or a T-bucket would really make that set up look mean.

I`m an FE guy, but 1500HP & over 1000 ft-lbs of torque seems very optimistic, especially considering it`s never been fired up!------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA Stocker 302 5speed. soon to be under the index! 59 Meteor (Canadian Ford) 2 dr sedan 332, auto 74 F350 ramp truck 390 4spd

I ain't no expert but....It appears to be well under-driven (top pulley larger than bottom) To get 30lbs on a 477 using a 1471 you would need to be about 25% over-driven. And the popoff plate at the back is generally used for low boost (6-10lbs) applications. So 30lbs does not seem right to me.Paul
